1. Use of the App

Financy Pal is a personal finance tracking app that allows you to manage multiple accounts, track income and expenses, create custom budgets, and supports envelope-style budgeting, multi-currency management, recurring and one-time transactions, transfers, and account/budget/category management. You agree to use the app only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms.

2. User Accounts and Registration

To use certain features of the App, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information during registration
• Maintain the security of your account credentials and device security
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• Be responsible for all activities that occur under your account

3. Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your data and device security. Financy Pal does not store your financial information on its servers, and all data is stored locally on your device. We use Firebase for secure authentication and optional cloud backup services.

4. User Data and Privacy

We respect your privacy. All your financial data stays on your device unless you choose to back it up externally. We do not collect or sell your personal financial data. Our collection and use of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

5. Subscription and Premium Features

Financy Pal offers both free and premium features. The app enforces feature limits for free users and offers premium features via subscription:

• Free users have limited access to accounts, categories, currencies, and recurring transactions
• Premium subscribers get unlimited access to all features
• Subscriptions are managed through your device's app store and subject to their terms
• You may cancel your subscription at any time through your app store account settings

6. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use the App for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the service. Prohibited activities include:

• Attempting to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Using the App to track illegal financial activities
• Sharing your account credentials with others
• Reverse engineering or attempting to extract source code

7. Modifications to the Service

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the app (or any part of it) at any time with or without notice. We are not liable for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation.

8. Limitation of Liability

Financy Pal is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of the app, and we are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the app. Users are responsible for the accuracy of their financial data and should consult with financial professionals for important decisions.

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App will cease immediately, though you may retain access to export your data for a reasonable period.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of your local jurisdiction, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes through the App or via email. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
